How 2 Play Video Poker

Video Poker is a skill based game where the player has some degree of control over the outcome. By choosing the right machine and selecting the correct amount to bet, and using basic strategy the player has excellent odds against the house.

The basics of Video Poker are quite simple to master. This brings into play the basics of 5-card draw. After the insertion of coin(s) push the play or deal button. The 5 cards will be dealt where at this point the player decides, which cards to hold by pressing the button below the cards they wish to hold. The player can choose to hold all five of the cards or none at all. After this choice has been made the player presses the deal button a second time and the new cards which have not been held are dealt. If the player has a strong enough result (hand) they will be awarded the payout according to the payout chart.
