Placing Bets In Roulette

Roulette Bets

There are two types of roulette bets. First there is inside betting. Inside betting is choosing the specific slot the ball will fall in by placing a chip on the number that corresponds to the slot on the betting table. This is called a straight bet. Another type of inside bet is a split bet, which is placed on two numbers next to one another on the betting table. Next, there is the street bet, which is a bet placed on three numbers that lie in a row horizontally on the betting table. A corner bet is another inside bet and is placed on four numbers on the betting table that make a square with one another. Finally, there is a six line bet which is made on two streets lying next to each other, or two sets of three in a row horizontal numbers.

Outside roulette bets are made on categorical groups. An even bet is a bet that the ball will land in an even numbered slot. There are 18 of these on a roulette wheel. A column bet is an outside bet on a whole column of 12 numbers on a betting table.
